cities are a large human urban settlement and it can be the center of it's political rule and economic policies or an important port city or a cultural city or a city contain all of the above and representative of a precious time period etc like kyoto, japan

but one thing i noticed is cities are starting to get really large and with many skyscrappers

the concept of a city is very old and also wonder high structures from the great pyramids of egypt to the colossium in rome to notredam in paris etc

it's a sign of prosperity and wealth and development and progress

however in our modern times there are cities that basically became skyscrapper concrete jungles everything is about tower ing high buildings

which makes a city look out of shape like cities in china or dubai in united emirates

but cities used to be about more simplistic beauty and charm with their own unique architecture and less sight bearing towers

for example like many european cities which kept it's height restrictions and if they had any towers they will be mainly centered around their

CBD (central bus iness  district) but they acquire their beauty and balance with nature and enviroment with wonderful parks and complementary architecture

simplistic beauty still  matters
