Went to Manila

The day before yesterday I went to Manila overnight on 2 days.

This is my first time in Manila.

Before going I heard that Manila is dangerous.

Japanese man was killed there 4 days ago.

Therefore I was so nervous.

As a result, I learned social polarization there.

A few of the upper class live in Makati area, and walking shortly from there a large of low class live.

In the Philippines the social polarization between upper and low is extremely big.

And the town is so dirty.

Many people throw a trash away easily anywhere.

In Japan or Singapole we hardly see some trashes outside.

I feel a difference of the manner, moral, and education.

I think it will take a lot of time for the Philippine society to grow healthily. 

Jollibee's Commercial beyond McDonald's

Jollibee is the most famous hamburger shop in the Philippines.

In the Philippines the sales of Jollibee is higher than it of Mcdonald's.

A movie below is commercials that my teacher showed me yesterday.

Does it truthly happen such a thing with hamburgers !?

English habits of each countries

There are a lot of countries' students in my school.

Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Taiwanese, Thai, Vietnamese, and so on.

Today I had a optional class for Japanese pronounciation.

The teacher said us that Japanese pronounciation is flat.

A intonation is important to speak English, especially Japanese.

Getting back on track, I notice English habits of each countries here.

A person from a country is difficult to listen to English of the other country.

I don't understand Korean English and Chinese English.

But I am easy to listen to Japanese English.

I feel that Vietonamese English especially has strong habits.

My friend told me that it is the Mongolians who have the strongest English habits.

Chocolate in Chocolate

This is one of the snacks in the Philippines.

I am wondering a little.

Because this is " Chocolate in Chocolate ".

The taste is normal, especially not good.

The price is very cheap.

Maybe this is less than 10PHP （20yen）.

I try to search snacks in the Philippines more and more.

KAMIKAZE in Mabalacat

I went to see KAMIKAZE Peace Memorial.

As you all know, KAMIKAZE is a suicide attack.

Chiran（知覧） and Kanoya（鹿屋） are famous as Kamikaze airfields.

 But the first attack unit made a sortie from here, Mabalacat airfield.

This memorial is along a big street.

 

 

The statue of KAMIKAZE looks brave, but also looks lonely.

 

I hope that all Japanese come to see here when they come to Angeles.
