Sakamoto’s suggestion frightened Miyazawa. He asked him if wish to sell Kohaze-ya to gain the fund for Silklay machine. Miyazawa rejected Sakamoto’s proposal with anger, nevertheless, he knew that no other way can save his company.
The news of selling the company made staff upset and the RIKOUH project team was about to break up.
In the situation, Miyazawa decided to participate a civil Ekiden with the team. He wanted to re-unite member’s hearts once again through the Ekiden. Sakamoto came to join his Kohaze-ya team. He was also a member of the project team.
