After countless experiments and failures, finally, Kohaze-ya succeeded to adjust Silklay, the sole material, to ideal hardness, which brought the project team to next stage of making customized shoes for Mogi, Hiroto. But Miyazawa’s proposal to measure Mogi’s feet was turned down by the manager of track and field club Mogi belongs to.
About that time, Mogi’s company Daiwa Foods, came to know his injury and suggested him to retire from the athlete life, which made him even more desperate to survive as runner.
Seeing his running, Murano, the shoe fitter of Atlantis co ltd., proposed his superior to supply customized model for Mogi, but was harshly rejected and his work was criticized, too. Murano was wounded his pride so badly so he left Atlantis and joined Kohaze-ya’s project. Under Murano’s assistance, new version of RIKUOH was completed and provided to Mogi for trial.
