FILM "SEKIGAHARA"
Recently, my youngest son, fifth grade of primary school, is getting interested in Japanese history, particularly in the Age of Civil War at 15 c. So he requested me to go together watching film “Sekigahara”, starring Jyunichi Okada as Mitsunari Ishida.
I like Jyunichi Okada and he played well on the tragedy of Mitsunari. Personally, however, Sakon Shima who has a scar on his face, played by Takehiro Hira, is even more impressive. Hira is really irreplaceable actor to play this role of retainer of Ishida.
The film took more than two hours to finish, nevertheless, my son is very satisfied with the story.
