Zero fighter flies again above Japan.

Japanese fighter against US army at the WWII flied above Japan for the first time in 70 years. In the beginning of the war at Pacific Ocean, Zero was sensational for its enormous flying range and fighting capability.

But when Japanese defeat was getting decisive, Zero was involved to Kamikaze, the suicide attack to US battle ship. And with Japanese surrender most of the fighters were destroyed.

Only few Zeros exist in the world today. This time one of the survived Zero, which had been repaired, was brought back to Japan and made test flight.

One might say that this is the revival of militarism but I am sure that the fighter reminds us preciousness of peace at post war era.
