It was a terrible storm on Sunday afternoon.
Not whole day but only few hours from around three pm.
My wife and children were working in the garden at the time and I was about to leave home for haircut.
My son told me to have an umbrella and go by bicycle. Thick and dark cloud is approaching to our area so better go quickly.
He was right.
Right after seven minutes of traveling to the barber, it started to heavy rain. Strong wind blew everywhere.
I got bit wet but somehow managed to get into barber before unfamiliar beating noise arose from roof and window glasses.
It was hail.
All of the men in the barber were surprised for having hailstorm in May.
Later I came to know that a tornado happened in Tsukuba area and destroyed one thousand five hundred houses and killed few people.
