Separate and otherwise uneventful trip to a well-known book-seller where, mooching for books on any Liverpool band I could find, I came across a book of Jim Morrison's original poetry titled The Lords. New Eldar Toys, but not what you think! This sentence could have been written yesterday, but it actually appeared in The Lords and the New Creatures, Jim Morrison's first book of published poetry in 1971. Paul is not speaking of the new creature; but he is speaking of the question whether there is more than one God, one Creator, one Ruler over the wide universe. This is nothing new and something that WotC has been doing for years. If you notice, it's very similar to Lord of Atlantis with the only difference being that it benefits your creatures instead of everyone's. Rather than going out into the Lord's vineyard and doing the work that needs to be done, we instead insist upon resting and warming ourselves by the fire. And Jesus says that the man returned to his home “justified”, that is, made right before him, forgiven, made a new creature, I think singing joyfully in his heart (Lk 18:14). Along the way, the companions meet many fantastic monsters and creatures, including the great eagle Belleram, who is easily the best written and most interesting character in the story. What had he done that was so extraordinary? Either the “real” Slivers have gone completely extinct in the however many hundreds of years it's been since the events of Time Spiral block and these new creatures picked up the name just for their ability sharing, or what we last saw of the Slivers have When they were first introduced this basically made them a tribe of “Lords”, since that's the way those kinds of abilities worked at the time (Goblin King buffs all the Goblins, Lord of Atlantis buffs all the Merfolk, etc.). Unfortunately codex wins, due to info on pg 7, and Lord of the Storm lightning can hit Swooping Monstrous Creatures and Zooming Flyers.
