Is there hope after all for beleaguered BlackBerry manufacturer Research in Motion? Maybe so, with tech titan IBM rumoured to be interested in making a move for the Canadian company's enterprise wing.
Following yesterday's snub by Samsung, RIM is apparently now drawing informal interest from the US computing giant, according to "people familiar with the situation" cited by international town crier Bloomberg.
Specifically, IBM is thought to be flirting with the fading smartphone behemoth's enterprise services division, which runs a network of secure servers for email and message handling on BlackBerry devices.
