Areamaster light-emitting diode (LED) 20w LED Flood Light line with a
non-rated, non-hazardous location version that is rugged and
energy-efficient. The new Industrial Areamaster LED is an
energy-efficient alternative to conventional high-intensity discharge
(HID), fluorescent and incandescent floodlights. It is a retrofit
lighting solution for damp or wet outdoor locations or industrial
workplaces such as warehouses, assembly lines and loading docks,
according to the company.
In 120 volts (V) to 277V, the
Industrial Areamaster LED delivers 18,000+ lumens of cool white light in
a 130¡ã (horizontal) ¡Á 132¡ã (vertical) beam spread, which is a large
area for a fixture measuring only 15 inches square. Moreover, its
directional light does not require the use of external optics, resulting
in system efficiencies as high as 80%, according to the company. The
750-watt (W) equivalent Industrial Areamaster LED has a correlated
colour temperature of 5665¡ãK resulting in a cool white hue and an
impressive Color Rendering Index (CRI) rating of 70. This compares
favourably to the 62 CRI rating for a pulse-start metal halide or the 22
CRI rating of a high-pressure sodium lamp..
