We all enjoyed today

We had 6 guests today, all of them from Australia!!

Departed Hakuba on time 8:10am, then arrived at Snowmonkey park parkinglot on 10am.

All of us walked good pace, took less than 40mins.

So, we could stay about 1hour at Snowmonkey park,

was enough time to observe snowmonkeys.

I'm not sure whether monkeys knew we had plenty time or not,

they showed off bathing in slow, relax atmosphere;)

Some of them were actually sleeping in the water♪

It start snowing again;)

The sleet last night had changed snow on this early morning, that brought Hakuba

Hakuba 15cm fresh snow☆

We departed snowing Hakuba around 8am, arrived also snowing Snowmonkey parking lot 10am.

It's a hard work to walk upto Snowmonkey park on such a snowy day,

but that's same for monkeys. 

So, we could see over 20 monkeys were bathing in hotspring today!!

 

Because of weeked, there was very busy last 2days...

But it's Monday today, could stay there with less stress:)

Weatherforecast says it's going to be snowy weather for this week.

Super sunny day☀

There was no cloud in the sky all day today.

We got a bit of sunburn on our faces.

On Snowmonkey tour, we have to hike up 2km through forest passage, 

it could be harsh if it's too cold and snow blowing day.

However, in such a nice day, it was so enjoyable to hikeup through beautiful and quiet forest.

Because of it's Saturday, Everywhere we visited was very livery. Snowmonkey park, Obuse town, Zenkoji temple as well, That makes us also livery and enjoyable.

I also like visit in quiet weekdays, but it's good to visit in weekdays;)

You made good choice today;)

Last 2weeks, we experienced cold weather with much snow.

But this week, from yesterday Jan 29, warm air comes from the south to Japan, 

that causes spring-like weather even in January.

Becouse of warm air, Hakuba had heavy rain fall this morning.

It's hard to ski in such heavy rain, so good chice to go to snowmonkey tour!!

It was raining heavily this morning at Hakuba, however almost no raining at snowmonkey park:)

We are in "Winter" deeply...

Since about 10days ago, we are experiencing "Winter".

Even in Hakuba, we've not had plus temperature, 

at Snow monkey park, there are tons of snow and always minus temperature.

It's so cold during walking to Snow monkey, and staying the park.

But, it's cold weather forces monkeys stay bathing:)

Hiking up to Snow monkey is good exercise for guests, 

however, it's worth to do it!!

Monkeys are waiting for you in the Onsen(hot spring)!!

After 3days closure...

Snowmonkey park had been closure 3days in a ｒow from Tuesday to Thursday doe to heavy snow fall.

But finally, it's opened today!!

Obviously, snow amount changed, I think there was about 130cm snow fall last 3days.

Snow monkey park was so busy today, everyone had been waiting for reopen for 3days.

Onsen(hot spring) bathing pool was busy as well. Many monkeys came down to the hot spring like to meet guests expectations.

We are getting busy, and full book tomorrow.

But we have some seats from Sunday;)

Too much snow...

We've had over 1m snow last week at Hakuba though,

at Snowmonkey park, there is also over 1m snow in just 3days!!

Due to this heavy(almost like disaster) snow fall,

Snowmonkey park is closed today(Jan17) and tomorrow(Jan18)...

I hope we can go meet snowmonkey next Thursday:)

Cold day!!

It was snowing Hakuba this morning too, but today,

snowing at snowmonkey as well.

We hiked up 2km from parking lot to the snowmonkey hot spring,

with being blowed chilly wind and snow.

It was harsh day for humans walking up. though,

monkeys come down to the hot spring in order to warm up themselves.

Such a cold day is a good chance to see snowmonkey !!

Heavy snow in Hakuba, how about monkeys?

I was surprised with looking outside this morning.

We have over 50cm fresh snow last night!! 

Even such a snowy day, Snowmonkey tour is on going♪

We were afraid of road condition the way to snowmonkey park,

there were little snow on the road snowmonkey area. It didn't affect our tour. 

Today's guest were 2 families from Australia.

This is very first time to see tons of snow for some childlen,

they got so exited about every scenery coverd with snow!!  

It was very cold day for human, ofcourse monkeys as well!!

Gets colder and colder, more and more monkey come to the hot spring(Onsen) bathing pool.

Too cold to Ski?

2017 Snowmonkey!!

Hi, there!!

Long time no see.

Finally, we got much snow fall at Hakuba Valley.

This cold air from Siberia will stay upto weekend,

I hope we have more and more snow fall to the valley!! 

BTW, whether much snow or not, Snowmonkey tour is busy this season as well.
