something good and something bad

last Sunday I've changed my hairstyle XDD

winter... cold...

because of hard frost snow becomes compressed and smooth like an ice.

today I've slipped on the road and fell down :(

the result of that fall is strained tendon (T_T)

how will I work tomorrow?

well, somehow... XD

by the way, it's -30℃ every day :(
nights are colder...

I really hate winter (>.<)

extreme winter swimming

19th of January is Epiphany in Russia.

Orthodox Church still uses Julian calendar so dates of religious feasts differ from other world.

there is a traditional religious rite in Russia to swim in an ice hole this day.
they say that water is blessed today.

although I can't stand cold I've desided to try it this year XDD

by the way, it's always very cold in the middle of January. we call this period "the Epiphany frosts".

well, today's temperature is:
air: -28℃
water: +2℃

a pool

by the way... swimsuit isn't fit for this swimming because, as I said before, it's a serious religious rite. I used a shirt without sleeves.
