This 14-inch Lenovo Thinkpad T430 is a refreshed version of the popular Lenovo Thinkpad T420. This T430 Pros: Extremely long battery life; Comfortable Precision keyboard; Solid performance; ThinkVantage apps useful and intuitive; Runs cool. The Lenovo Thinkpad T430 caddy is designed chiefly for large institutional buyers who in turn dispatch them to their employees. Lenovo didn’t stray to far from the successful T420 blueprint. This is another great T-series laptop. The keyboard is very nice -- worth the keyboard legend only available for Thinkpads. However, I do not think the new keyboard layout is better than the classic one. The Thinkpad T430 laptop stays surprisingly cool: I used it for several hours last night setting Lenovo T430i caddy up and configuring it and it never once got uncomfortably warm. I've also never once heard the fan kick in, despite running blender full screen on a projector.
The 14-inch display has a 1600 x 900-pixel resolution (16:9 aspect ratio). The screen has an anti-glare finish, and seems a little wan compared to some recent laptops we’ve seen. The Thinkpad T430s hdd caddy screen just doesn’t seem especially bright, though text and images are crisp and detailed, and colours are rich. The lack of brightness can make things seem noisier or more pixellated than they are. The respective reviews of the new Lenovo Thinkpad T430u caddy adapter and Latitude E6430 are still to come, thus we will compare it with their predecessors including the ThinkPad T420. This ThinkPad T430 is a true business class notebook; it includes the expected USB ports but also has DisplayPort (albeit a mini version), a SmartCard reader (a $10 option), an ExpressCard/34 slot (good for adding 3G cards) and a pair of fast USB 3.0 ports.
The Lenovo Thinkpad T430 starts at just $779 on Lenovo’s website. At that price you can get this machine equipped with a 2.5GHz Core i5 (of the latest Ivy Bridge generation, Lenovo THINKPAD T430SI Hard drive caddy), an ample 320GB hard drive, 4GB of RAM, and a dual-layer DVD burner.

Lenovo's design is very professional. This T430 laptop is quite strong for student and officer. You can use with almost of games and applications. The specs is quite strong. However, RAM 4GB is quite small with this version. If you looking for a laptop look same this, you can see T430 with 8Gb RAM. It’s rock-solid in build quality, the audio is loud and crisp, the LCD screen is pretty and glare-free, and you even get the classic ThinkPad dual pointing devices – a textured touchpad and the iconic red rubber pointing stick.
