When I was thinking that I wanted to go to England to study abroad during the summer vacation, I met an English man at a domestic bus tour.
The tour organizer said
Those words led me to start.
Then, I told him that I was interested in England and wanted to go there.
And then, on my way out he said"feel free to ask me anytime"
I sent an email right off thinking that he said it just to be polite.
I sent it with a feeling of "I would be lucky if I got a reply".
But .........
He was a really good person and he helped me about choosing a school and a place to live, and gave me advice and a lot of information.
Then, my dream to study abroad came true.
What's more, he sent such a wonderful email to his friends in London.
Like this......
Hey guys,
How's it going? Having a great London summer?
*snip*
While we were travelling in Japan we were really kindly hosted by loads of
lovely Japanese people and one of the people we met is called Chika (on this
message!).
*snip*
Can you guys recommend anything?
*snip*
And if any of you are around (I'm guessing you might be on holiday!) then
perhaps you could have a coffee/a drink with Chika?
I'll leave it with you guys but I'm sure she'd appreciate even advice on
what's on while she's there.
------------------
He gave me an opportunity to meet his friends and helped me in planning a visit to London for few months on top of that.
I'm filled with a feeling of gratitude for his kindness.
If I asked myself " Could you do something like this for a stranger before recently, and a person who you had toured with for just one day,,,,,,only for one day...
I'd probably say I couldn't.
But I would now! Or more like "I want to".
He helped me out and expressed
kindness that makes me want to do the same action kind of thing.
I'd like to repay him for all the help he had given me and I want to help someone myself.
I believe acts of kindness can be spread.
People who receive kindness become happy and they will naturally want to be kind to people!! I think...
I think........
