Sony, a leader in high-definition (HD) technology, is expanding its FCB Block Camera Series with the addition of the new FCB-EH3150. In response to the growing demand for high-quality and high-resolution images that only HD can deliver, the FCB- EH3150 offers 12x optical zoom lens with outstanding features for military, surveillance, intelligent traffic, unmanned vehicles, photo booths, police vehicles, low vision and videoconferencing applications.

The FCB-EH3150 camera module incorporates a 1/4-type HD “Exmor? CMOS sensor” providing high image quality sony ccd camera and excellent sensitivity, capable of achieving an outstanding minimum illumination of 0.3lx (F1.6, 50IRE) in colour when operating in High Sensitivity mode.
The camera module is compatible with a variety of video signal systems - from SD (NTSC & PAL) to HD (720p) at full frame rate (60fps) - and capable of both analogue and digital output modes, thus supporting legacy infrastructure and new architecture, allowing maximum flexibility and future-proof based integration.
The FCB-EH3150 is feature rich, adopting a wide range of common features as seen in other FCB-EH series models. Incorporated within the module are a host of features, including Wide Dynamic Range technology; a Day/Night function, and Sony’s unique digital noise reduction capability. In addition, the camera includes other key features such as Spherical Privacy Zone Masking, Picture Freeze Function, SPOT AE Function, and Electronic Shutter/Slow Shutter. When combined with the 12x Optical zoom lens the FCB-EH3150 provides a powerful and compact HD solution which is ideally suited for use within the Video Surveillance and Security industry, but can also be used in applications such as inspection, video conferencing, broadcast and low vision due to additional features such as Colour Enhancement.
