One day, a customer wanted to take soup one more but the soup does not have the price because that is just service. Usually, we just give it if a customer wants it but the chief got the money. I discussed this acts of the chief with my colleagues. Why do you want to get the money from a customer even this doesn’t have the price, we told our chief, however, he didn’t stop getting money. Therefore, he lost his trust from us and customers.
And this is the most important reason that it is difficult to survive in the world. Recently, there is the serious earthquake in Japan and some areas do not have enough stuff such as diapers, food, water and so on. People who live there need to help us from Japan. Many companies such as food companies are helping them to give food or any stuff. And it is free, companies don’t require money. It is amazing. I read an article about the free vending machines. When there is a huge earthquake, some vending machines will be free.
That’s why I think that a profit is not all for business. It also needs the service. And also I read an article that in the U.S., if there is a serious disaster, a supermarket will sell water double price. On the other hand, in Japan, a supermarket will sell water half price or free. That’s why there are many companies survive a long time in Japan.
