Kanji comes from Form of the thing or Chinese old story.

proverb:温故知新(onkochishin)




 




meaning:You are familiar with an old idea.




And you learn a new thing from an old idea.




 




Why is it called so?




The words that Confucius said to a pupil.





Confucius said"



You are familiar(温) with an old idea(古).




And you learn(知) a new thing(新) from an old idea."




 




 



 




 






proverb:酒池肉林(syuchinikurin)




 




meaning:Very luxurious feast




 




Why is it called so?




 




酒池肉林 is a party that held a party by  紂王(cyuu-ou),the tyrant. 


He was king of the 殷(inn) nation. 







 




He filled up a pond with sake.


And he hung meat to a lot of trees.


Naked man and woman run around a pond for a full day nad night.


It was a
very luxurious feast.





From such a thing,it called



酒池肉林

Why is it called so?




Long Long time ago.......




In ancient China"夏王朝"(夏dynasty)




When the king of the dependency gathered for the 夏dynasty, to believe other’s trusted it and concluded an alliance.




They cut the ear of the cow, and there was a custom to drink the blood.




Because the king of the great power where had highest position went in a 夏dynasty, as for the duty to cut the ear.




From such a thing,it called
