ORD+matsuri

Ahhhh I ran all over Singapore yesterday (>_<) From CCK to Bugis, then back home then to Expo, then I had to fly back to Yio Chu Kang. My feet nearly died （ ´(ェ)｀）




The best public place in Singapore!


I'll start from Bugis first. A NCOs were like camping at the supposed "Best Public Place in Singapore", courtesy of MXW but the security guard chased us away (Ｔ▽Ｔ;) CURSE YOU PATERNALISTIC GOVERNMENT.

Then we camped at Bras Basah for a while (bought a sketch book yay) and they left me to work on the cushions, which I STILL haven't finished. Joy to the world.




So



I gave up and went home to change, muahaha.




Natsu Matsuri was really crowded and super cool but I didn't have a lot of time thanks to CERTAIN PEOPLE who kept me waiting for almost an hour. ALMOST. (ﾞ ｀-´)/

There were like tons of people in yukatas, but GUESS WHAT. I didn't see anyone with the same yukata design as me HAHA. Embarrassment avoided whee.

Taiko performance by some primary school kids. They were super cute (〃∇〃) Last show I watched cuz it was late and I had to leave. Hmph.


So in the end I walked, in those freaking stilts of a geta, all the way to the MRT and stood on the effing train while people stared so blatantly at me like I'm some freaking public display. The I got smart and followed Shiing's advice to cab.



ORD dinner was so NICE. The food rocks whooo! Part Cs ya'll should all go open a restaurant!!!


Yeah, and the remaining time was rather uneventful, except I realised my juniors have some sort of sixth sense. Their presents all fit onto my yukata (O_O) like, really I managed to look like a nice christmas tree haha.



Freaked pltnmates out with the Aoi kimono dance. It looks retarded haha.


Hmm yeah so,




I woke up at 12.15pm today with a headache, so I ate the chocolate cookieman part Bs gave us.

It's half-eaten sorry, BUT IT'S SO GOOD.


Lol part Bs are freaking rich and bloody good cooks.

And this is the state of my room floor now. Too lazy to pack it.

ORD

Yesterday was last training and today's ORD parade. My last parade. (´＿｀｡)





Last raining was rather epic though. We gave Part As this bunch of color pencils and made up some impromptu story about the pencils on the spot. It was supposed to be crack but the atmosphere was all wrong so I turned it into a sob story instead. Impromptu.






So...





So the story goes like this:


Once upon a time, there were 13 color pencils. Some of them were lonely, some of them had other friends, but all 13 of these color pencils felt that something wasn't quite complete.

One day, 5 thunder clouds came by and blew all the color pencils together, and they had to work very hard to make the storm go away. So the 13 color pencils started drawing, one by one, though some of them were faster and some were slower, they all learned to work together.

Little by little, they found that the storm could no longer blow them away, because when they were together they were stronger than the storm they faced. And little by little, they drew a rainbow together. It was the most beautiful rainbow that they had ever seen, and because of the rainbow the sun started rising.

Slowly the sun dispelled the 5 storm clouds, who floated away and formed huge white clouds at the distant blue patch of the sky. Sometimes they drifted by to say hello to the pencils, but sometimes they were nowhere to be seen. Gradually, the color pencils started to miss the clouds.

At night, when the sun was down and the clouds gone from sight, the color pencils would huddle in one corner, trembling, afraid of the dark. But even in this they know that even without the comfort of the clouds, at least they still had each other.

Anyway, I went to the Toys, Comics and Games Convention at Suntec City last Saturday (｀∀´)




Spent like, almost all my money though ｡ﾟ(T^T)ﾟ｡ My wallet is getting bulimic too...

National Day was so fun, yet it was so screwed up (･Θ･;)



Anyway, I went to see the doctor today (my finger's been flaking like nuts since June) and waited for about an hour plus just to finish the whole routine. Tamagotchi-ed and Oto-ed my time away v(^-^)v

I was starving to death so I just headed home with my mom. Then I somehow managed to convince her to go to fareast and SOMEHOW she was so nice today that she bought me a yukata.

Hmm yeah.




Oh and I made mochi.

I failed the first time and added too little water. It turned into like this ball of mochi rock

Like this. But I succeeded the second time ヽ(ﾟ◇ﾟ )ﾉ

8 little mochi sitting in my freezer. They're a little powdery but taste ok otherwise.



....They're out of shape though (ﾉ_･｡) It's harder to make mochi than gyoza.

One thing to note: never trust internet recipes.



Flooding mochi with water helps (・ω・)/

Yeah I just bought them from Takashimaya. There's some toy sale there and I got Tamagotchi for, like, $10.




The thing on the right is Tamagotchi, and the thing on the left is... DAMN COOL.



Seriously I had no idea there's something like this until I picked it up from the shelves and attempted to read it(it's like in jap).

It functions a bit like Tamagotchi, except YOU DON'T HAVE TO FEED IT. It doesn't poop either.


Instead, you play songs to feed it. Like, via your handphone/iPod.



I've been feeding mine Pura songs.





Since it grows according to the songs you play, mine turned out looking like a gangster. Hmph.


It costs $15 so I really don't midn getting one. But initially when you name it and all, it's like in jap. Katakana.
