EAGER shoppers queued round the block for a first glimpse into Pandora Charms jewellery box, which opened in Canterbury on Thursday (Nov 22).
The Danish jewellery brand has set up shop in The Parade – its eighth concept store to open this year.
Crowds waited from 8am for the grand opening, with the first 50 customers receiving a free silver bracelet with their purchase.
First through the doors were Kimberly Brennan from Faversham, with her son Harry and sister Jacqui.
Trevor Fitzgerald, franchise partner of the store, cut the ribbon with Pandora uk online staff Helen Catmull and Crystal Guy.
He already stocks Pandora jewellery in his other store, Fitzgerald Jewellers in Burgate, but decided to branch out because of the brand's popularity.
The new outlet boasts a range of sterling silver and gold bracelets, charms, rings and necklaces. There is also a new bracelet collection designed by singing group Girls Aloud.
Pandora's retail director Nigel Simpson said: "We are very excited to be opening up a new Pandora UK store in Canterbury and bringing shoppers a larger selection of ever-changing ranges, from our signature charm bracelet to our stackable rings."
