in preparation for Grad School, I felt I should find time to do some proper artwork.
Most of the creative juices were poked and prodded by Aggy-pon's recent painting posts
on Twitter.
I guess when you love something you just can't stop doing it. In my and Aggy-pon's
case, art. ♥
I made some doodles using this tablet, but it seems I still like traditional art more.
The pain, time and effort are all worth it. ♥
Started with this sketch. I like drinking beer while drawing but I haven't stocked the
fridge yet, so I had to make do with ginger ale. The sketch was pretty rough,
but it seems my joints haven't rusted. Yet. Haha! ★
It's the inking that's killing me though. Feathering is serious business and
my fingers get cramped easily since I hold brushes like a buckaneer. Haha! ★
I plan on finishing this piece tonight. I'm giving it as a gift to someone
very important to me. Well, once I find the nearest post office. The only one I
know is in the inner city. Haha! :)
That's it for now. I'll do some chores, read some more and then
finish this after a refreshing bath. ♥
