Despite it was the successor of the Powerbook G3 Pismo, there are almost no similarities between the two. Rather, it looks more alike with the Macbook Pro. From Pismo to G4 Titanium, it was a breakthrough in design; since then, Apple keeps using the similar design for 20 years!
