1. strand
[noun]a long piece of hair, wire, thread.
2. stranded
[adj]left without help, that can not move or be moved.
3. stray
[adj]not in the right place, home, family. [verb]move away aimlessly from a family or from the home.
4. streak
[noun]a long thin line of a oil, paint, etc.
5. stroll
[verb]walk slowly. [noun]a short walk for pleasure.
