先週日曜日久しぶりに野崎島に行ってきました。
Last Sunday I went to Nozaki island.
今回は野崎島にある旧野首教会から舟森集落まで往復３時間歩いてきました。
This time we went to walk for round trip from Nokubi church to Funamori village
ガイド研修です。
私がこれから小値賀島、野崎島のことを伝えて、感じてもらうために必要なことを野崎島から学んできました。
I learned from Nozaki island about what I want to tell about Ojika island and Nozaki island, what you will feel about them. I got a lot of hints this time.

今日は野崎島について
Today I want to write about Nozaki island.
野崎島は南北約６．５キロメートル、東西約２キロメートルのピーナッツの形をした無人島です。
The island is 6.5 km long North to South, 2 km wide East to West. It's look like a peanuts island
昔は、野崎、野首、舟森の三集落があり、約６００人の人々が暮らしていました。
There used to be three settlements(Nozaki, Nokubi, and Funamori) on the island and around 600 people used to live there.
現在は無人島に残された旧野首教会と舟森集落跡が
The Nokubi church building stand and Funamori village as if time has stopped, and it is assded to the Tentative list of UNESCO world Heritages Site as part of "Churches and Christian Sites in Ngasaki" in 2015?
平成２８年度世界遺産に登録される予定です。

野崎島には素晴らし自然、
Beautiful nature still remind and history in Nozaki island.
そして人々が住んでた暮らしの跡が残っており、
You can still see stonewalled terraces fields, a shrine, and some remnants of old housed

その他原生林や国指定天然記念物のカラスバト
Nozaki island quite rich ecosystem includes wild woods, rare species of butterflies and Japanese
野生の日本鹿が約４００頭生息しています。
More than 40 wild Japanese deers inhabit all over the island.
今回はチャーター船で野崎島にある野首港へ
This time went to Nokubi port in Nozaki island by charter ship
先の方にみえる山が野崎島です。

約１５分ぐらいで野首港に到着です。

教会の中もハンパない美しさ

たった１７戸の祈りの力が生んだ、
A heritage created by the power of prayers of only 17 families
後世に残したい未来遺産です。
１９０８年に建てられ
Nokubi church was designed and built by well known Japanese architect Yosuke Tetugawa in 1908
過酷な環境の中で生き抜いた
野崎島の隠れキリシタンの人々１７世帯の歴史が刻まれていますね。
There is the history of suppressed secret Christians of 17 families and their hardship since the anti-Christian policy behind the establishment of the original Nokubi church.
一度は訪れてほしい野崎島です。

We walked nature path which people who lived in Funamori used to walk for school and so on.
子供達の通学路、生活の道ですね。
去年新しい案内標識も設置されました。

１時間ぐらい歩くと

舟森集落跡に到着します。
We will arrive to Funamori village
去年設置された標識が舟森集落について説明してくれます。

ここから１００メートルほど下ると
Go down about 100 meter from the sing,
瀬戸脇教会跡地があります。
There is a Sedowaki church site.

ここに瀬戸脇教会がありました。
