I first learned Nihongo when I was in college. However, I stopped while I was in the university. Two years ago, I started to learn Nihongo again. That time, I didin't really know why I studied Nihongo again. However, recently, after taking a Japanese writing class, I seemed to have realized the reason.
Before that composition class, when I write an essay, I felt so frustrated. Because I am an English writer, whenever I write, the number one reason is for me to express myself. However, I can't express in Japanese.
Now, my Nihongo level is still low. However, because of my essay class, I think my Nihongo writing has improved. Because of that composition class, I am exerting more whenever I write in Japanese. Even though it takes me more time, I can now express myself more, and am more satisfied with my work.
I love taking pictures of the place I've been to. In all my travels so far, I like my Japan trip this March.
When I was in Japan, the most interesting place for me was the Edo-Tokyo Museum. The place had lots of old houses and buildings. The buildings were so spectacular in the camera. It was like being transported back to the Edo period, to the world of the samurai.
What I found out in old Japanese houses is that, depending on the time of the day, the different rooms gave me a various feelings. For example, my friend and I arrived at the museum in the morning. But because the place was so big, we finished going around in the afternoon. Because of this, the pictures I took in the morning were different from the ones I took in the afternoon.
Because of this, of all the places I've been to in Japan, the Edo-Tokyo Museum was the most photogenic of all.
