This page lists up candidates of travel destinations, mainly regarding historical sites, in Okinawa.
Okinawa is located to the most south-west of Japan in the East China Sea, 1560 kilo-meters away from Tokyo.
Okinawa is even closer to Taiwan than Kyushu Island
Okinawa used to be the "Ryukyu Kingdom" until the end of the Edo Age (1603-1868).
"Rykyu Kingdom" was partially belonged to both Japan and China until the end of the Edo Age.
Because of such history and location, Okinawa has their own history and culture.
I will update the detail explanations of each place, time to time.
