唐津城は、豊臣秀吉の家臣・寺沢広高が1608年(慶長13年)に築いたお城です。
当時、天守は築かれなかったのですが、模擬天守がとても印象的なお城でした。
この天守から眺める虹の松原も素晴らしかったです。

Karatsu Castle was built in 1608 by TERASAWA Takahiro (1563-1633).
The ruins of Karatsu Castle are located to the north of Karatsu City in Saga Prefecture.
The main bailey of Karatsu Castle was located on the top of Mt. Mitsushima.
The view of the main castle tower of Karatsu Castle from the other side of the Matsuura River was fantastic.
To the main bailey of the ruins of Karatsu Castle, you will go up stone steps through the "Nino-Kuruwa" bailey.
When you approach to the main gate of the main bailey, you will see the main castle tower behind you.
There was no written record that the main castle tower of Karatsu Castle was built in the the Edo Age (1603-1868).
The existing castle tower was built in 1966 as an imitation.
The scenery from the main castle tower is spectacular. You will see "Nijino-Matsubara" Beach
