Kurobe-Daira is an observatory on the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route,
which is located on the east side of Mt. Tateyama.
Kurobe-Daira is accessible from Daikanbo by Tateyama Ropeway.
Tateyama Ropeway connects between Daikanbo, which altitude is 2,316 meters in height,
and Kurobe-Daira, which altitude is 1,828 meters in height.
The Ropeway connects between these places in seven minutes.

At the Kurobe-Daira Station of Tateyama Ropeway, observation decks are prepared.
You can enjoy spectacular scenery of Mt. Tateyama.
Mt. Onnanji, the highest peak of Mt. Tateyama (Altitude: 3,015 meters) can be seen from
Kurobe-Daira.
On the other side, you will see Mt. Akazawa (Altitude: 2,678 meters) across Kurobe Gorge.
