Explore Historical and Exotic Japan - Kofukuji T

This page introduces historical sites and also places where keeps traditional and original landscape of Japan.
The first place I shared is "Kofukuji Temple".

The Kofukuji Temple was originally built in 669, and moved the current location in 710, when Nara became the capital of Japan. The noble family of Fujiwara, who had strong political power and was a maternal relative of the Emperor, built the temple.

The Kofukuji Temple is one of the representative temple in Japan.
The Temple has 45 national treasures of Japan including 4 buildings.

The view of Five-Storied Pagoda from the Sarusawa-no-ike Pond is also the representative view of Japan.
