This is the latest issue of my English web-site, Tohoku Shinkansen and the Hokkaido Shinkansen:

This chapter explains the Tohoku Shinkansen and the Hokkaido Shinkansen.

The Tohoku Shinkansen is the second busiest Shinkansen line following the Tokaido Shinkansen.
Approximately 205 thousand passengers take the Tohoku Shinkansen a day.

The Tohoku Shinkansen is the third Shinkansen, which started the operation in 1982.
At first, the Tohoku Shinkansen opened between Ohmiya and Morioka.
Then, it was extended to Ueno in 1985, then to Tokyo in 1991.
