高野山でお引越し

引っ越し中で落ち着かず

ブログの更新が滞る間に

春の足音は確実に

近づいている高野山です

While being busy with moving,

spring is definitely approaching 

to Koyasan.

昨年高野山に到着後

初めて入居したお部屋には

とてもラッキーなことに

ベッド、タンス、本箱や

電子レンジ、冷蔵庫、洗濯機まで

備わっていました

When I first arrived in Koyasan

last year, I was lucky to move

into the fully furnished room.

新しいお部屋には

洗濯機と冷蔵庫以外は

何もありませんので

楽天のスーパーセールで 

お世話になりました

The new room I’m moving to

is not furnished besides

a washing machine and

refrigerator, so I did some 

online shopping.

まずはこたつ

First, I purchased 

a kotatsu.

部屋が狭くなるので

60x60にしましたが

このサイズを見つけるのは

大変でした

It was hard to find 

a small size, 60cmx60cm

2月の末に弟が結婚し、

お祝いを送りましたら

後日カタログが届きました

Because my younger brother 

married last month, 

I sent him a monetary gift,

then I received a catalog 

to choose the return gift.

28才も年の離れた弟の

結婚式をとても楽しみに

していましたが、

横浜は緊急事態宣言下で

私は出席をあきらめました

I was so looking forward to

attending his wedding, but

I had to give up due to

the state of emergency.

そのカタログの中から

↓と同じ電子レンジを

選びました

I picked a microwave 

from the catalog

a rack to place 

the microwave.

My small supply of

plates and glasses will be

on this rack.

引っ越しの荷物運びで

一番大変なのは本です

Most troublesome is 

to carry and store my books.

I ordered six of them

for now.

少々残念でしたのが

こちら↓のシューズラックです

I was so disappointed with

this shoe rack.

在庫が1個でした

They had only 1 in stock, and

19:50から準備をして

since 19:50, but it was 

already sold out at 20:00.

それから

これはあまり好きでは

ありませんが、

必要に迫られ購入しました

I also had to purchased 

an extension cord, which

I normally don’t like to use.

高野山に住んでいますと

上記の物を揃えるには

下山しなければならず

It’s impossible to find

the above items in Koyasan,

so I would have to go down

to the city, but

車のない私は

下山しても運ぶことが

できません

since I don’t drive,

I wouldn’t be able to

carry them in any ways. 

大した物を買い揃えた

わけではありませんが

Although I didn’t really buy

anything fancy,

今までは

すでに置かれていたものを

使っていましたので

because I’ve been using 

what was provided, so

少しずつ

自分の好みに

塗り替えられていく

行程の中で

during the process of

changing the room

in my own taste, 

高野山という地に

根付いていくような...

I now feel like truly settling 

in Koyasan....or

新たな一歩を

踏み出すような.. 

I also feel like starting

another chapter...

春の訪れとともに

高野山2年目の生活に

ワクワク感がとめどめない

引っ越し真っ最中の

今日この頃です

Spring is just around 

the corner, and I’m becoming 

very excited to start my second 

year of Koyasan life.
