四連休初日の朝の
高野山は、
午前9時、
車が次々に到着しています。

あいにくの曇り空ですが、

金剛峰寺の駐車場は
すでに満車です。

3人の係員さんが
すでに大忙しです。

are already busy.

二人の係員さんが、
頭をくっつけ
地図に見入っています。

the map.
高野山観光情報センターに
早速足を運ぶ観光客の姿も
みえます。
The tourists are already
visiting at Koyasan
Tourism Information Center.
この連休中は、
高野山大学も
駐車場です。
During this weekend,
Koyasan University is
turning into a parking.
中門をくぐりぬける人も
People are walking
through Chumon,
後をたちません。
one after another.
Cars keep arriving
久しぶりに
大勢の観光客を
迎える高野山。
Koyasan is expecting
so many tourists
this weekend.
町が潤い、
活気が戻ることは
おおいに嬉しいことですが、
People in Koyasan
must be happy that
it would flourish their
businesses however,
コロナウイルス感染者が
まだ出ていない高野町
ですので、
because nobody has been
infected by the coronavirus
in Koyasan,
コロナ対策も万全を
期さねばなりません。
every single person
requires an extra
caution.
曼荼羅の世界そのものの
高野山では、
Koyasan represents
the world of mandala,
so
「共存」はとても自然な
考え方、行為、生き方で
あるようです。
it seems to be so natural
to think, act or live in
harmony.
コロナを相手にするのは
易しいことでは
ありませんが、
It’s not easy to deal with
the coronavirus, but
高野山がコロナと上手に
最適な方法で
共存していくことを
願っています。
