一周忌の記事を読み
When I read about
the 1st anniversary of
Johnny Kitagawa,
「もう一年たったのか。」
と驚き、
first, I was surprised that
how quickly a year has
gone by,
高野山奥の院に
お墓があると知ると、
second, I was also
surprised to find that
his grave is in Koyasan.
「Whaaaaaat?????」
と、ジャニーさんを
意識したわけでは
ありませんが、
なぜか英語で
叫んでしまいました。
I screamed in English
probably because
I remember him
speaking English.
マルタカのマスターに
だいたいの場所を聞き、
(さすが！)
I asked the master of
Marutaka where his
grave was,
昨日早速行ってみました。
then I decided go there
yesterday.
御廟橋から
左の参道を
英霊殿に向かおうと
したところ、
I was heading to
Eireden from
Gobyo-no-hashi,
前方の木々に囲まれた
薄暗い中で、
茶色の物体が
跳ねました。
I saw something hopping
in the dim under the trees.
「犬にしては大きいな。」
と思った瞬間、
I thought it was too big
to be a dog, then
ギョッとするシカと
目が合いました。
I made an eye contact
with deer who looked
absolutely scared.
一瞬の出来事で
写真を撮る余裕など
もちろんありませんでしたが、
I never had a chance
to take pictures, but
↓ここにいました。
she was here ↓
いつまたシカと遭遇するやら
ドキドキしながら、
しばらく歩き回り、
I kept walking around
even though I was still
in shock and afraid to
see it again, then
見つけました。
I found it.
特にジャニーさんや
ジャニーズに
興味があるわけでは
ないのですが、
I’m not a fan of
Johnny Kitagawa
or Johnny’s production,
however,
ジャニーさんの功績を
たたえるとともに、
I’d still like to praise
his achievements,
and
熱烈な嵐ファンの
お友達に
敬意を表する
といいますか、
show my respect to
my friends who are
big fans of Arashi.
お友達の代わりに
勝手に来てみました。
So, I decided to come
here for them.
ただのお節介です。
I’m just a meddlesome.
ジャニーさんのお墓は
山のすぐ側です。
His grave is located
right by the mountain.
いつシカが
飛び出してくるかと
写真を撮りながら
ドキドキしました。
I was still afraid that
deer would come out
from there.
よく見たら
お隣は藤島家でした。
I didn’t notice first, but
the grave of the Fujishima
Family is next to him.
ジャニーさんのお墓の
場所が分かりましたので、
Now I know where his
grave is, so
嵐ファンのお友達が
いつ高野山に来ても
案内できます。
I’m ready to bring my
friends here when they
come to Koyasan.
ジャニーさんからの

ございました。
I almost forgot to
show a message from
Johnny-san.
嵐ファンのお友達が
ここに来たいかどうかも
分かりませんが、
I’m actually not sure if
my friends are interested
in visiting this grave, but
準備をしてしまうのは
元コンシェルジュの性
のようであり、
It’s my nature to prepare
something in advance
as a former concierge,
or
ただのミーハーかも
しれません。
I’m just a lowbrow.
