四国遍路の大先輩が、
琴弾公園 銭形砂絵 寛永通宝
結願されました。
My friend has visited
the 88 temples and ended
his pilgrimage in Shikoku.
ちょうど2週間の
車遍路でした。
It took exactly 2 weeks
for him to visit the 88
temples by a car.
大雨の中、
It was during
the heavy rain,
and
2度のパンクの
アクシデントを
乗り越え、
he had a flat tires
twice, but
元気をたくさん
残されての結願です。
he still had so much
energy when he had
done.
四国八十八ヶ所を回り、
結願された人たちは
高野山のお大師様の元に
お礼詣りに来ます。
After completing 88 temples,
it is customary to visit
Koyasan and express
the gratitude to Kukai.
今回は、
大先輩に頼まれ、
その任務を授りました。
He asked me to complete
the mission.
彼に代わり、
この納め札を
奥の院へ納めに
行きたいのですが....
I’m ready to present
his Osame-fuda to
Oku-no-in, but.....
明日はお天気が
協力的であることを
ねがいます。
I hope the weather
will be cooperative
tomorrow.
徳島から東京行きの
フェリーに乗り込んだ
大先輩から、連絡が
きました。
He called me from the ferry
departing in Tokushima
for Tokyo.
「次は貴方の残りと
別格ですね！」
Next will be your leftover
and “Bekkaku”
残りというのは、
私の4度目のお遍路が、
後11カ寺で結願と
いうことです。
Leftover means that I have
11 more temples to complete
my forth round..
別格とは、
四国八十八ヶ所霊場とは
別の番外霊場のうち、
20の寺院が集まり、
創設されたものです。
Also, Bekkaku means
three are 20 additional
temples you can visit
in Shikoku besides
88 temples.
この2週間、
車の中で寝起きされ、
He slept over nights
in the car for 2 weeks,
and
雨音で眠れない日も
おありでしたのに、
there were nights that
he couldn’t sleep because
of the noise of the rain,
but
結願と同時に
次のお遍路を語れる
エネルギーに
he still had so much
energy to talk about
the next pilgrimage.
私もかなり
触発されました。
He truly inspired me.
大先輩のように
70代になっても
お遍路が続けられるよう
心身ともに
強くなりたいと
思います。
I wish I will be strong
mentally and physically
when I become 70th like
he is.
