予報通り今日も
除湿機
どしゃぶりの高野山です。
As forecast said,
it’s raining again.
高野山に引っ越した当初から
冬の極寒と
この時期の湿気のことは
地元の方々に
おどされていました。
Since I moved in Koyasan,
the local people gave me
warning about severe
weather in winter and
humidity during the
rainy season.
引っ越ししてすぐに
お友達のすすめで
購入したのが、

my friends recommended.
押入れ、タンス、靴箱に
入れてあります。
I put this in the closest,
dresser and shoe box.
尚且つ、
On top of that
普段訪問者もいないので、
押入れは全開、
タンスも半開き状態です。
Since nobody visits my
apartment, all closet and
dresser are left open.
にもかかわらず、
Nonetheless,
私はタンスや
引き出しに
香りのよい石鹸を
入れるのが好きなのですが、
I like to place soaps in
the closet and drawers, but
タンスの中の石鹸が
I found my soap today
水浸し。
soaked.
しかし、
ラッキーなこともあり、
Luckily,
他のアパートや住宅に
比べると、
今住んでいるアパートは
カビの発生が
ほとんどないそうです。

そして、最強の味方は、

友達から譲り受けた

a dehumidifier.
湿気100%の日でも
洗濯物が乾くので
とても助かっています。

なんとか梅雨は
越せそうですが...
I believe I can handle
this rainy season, however
先日立ち寄った
お店のご主人が
仰いました。
the owner of the shop
in Koyasan said the other day,
「昨日は寒くて
ストーブつけたよ。」
It was chilling yesterday.
I had to turn on the heater.
「この分だと梅雨が
明けたら、夏をすっ飛ばし
8月末にはコタツだな。」
I guess....by the rainy season
is over, the heating equipment
will be needed in the end of
August.
というわけで、
Therefore,
梅雨対策が終わったと
のんびりする間もなく、
as soon as I finished to
deal with this rainy season,
楽天でコタツ布団を
探しているうちに
while looking for a blanket
for Kotatsu, a table with
built-in hearter, on the
internet,
今日もまた
どしゃぶりの一日が
過ぎてゆきます。
another day with
cats and dogs rain
is going on.
