今朝は雨降る中、

高野山診療所へ
行きました。
I went to Koyasan Clinic
in the rain.
定期検診ですが、
It was just a regular
check-up, however,
月曜日に体調を
くずしたので、
色々ご相談することが
ありました。
I had a couple of things
I needed to talk since
I’ve been sick since
Monday.
月曜日は弘法大師空海の
降誕会でした。
Monday was Kukai’s
birthday celebration.
始まる時は曇り空でしたのに、
終わる頃には青空が広がり、
It was cloudy in the morning, but
by the end of the ceremony,
it became sunny.
普段なら日傘をさすのですが、
すっかり油断をし、
I normally use a parasol to
protect myself from the sun, but
I was a little careless, so
太陽と湿気の二大天敵に
打ちのめされました。
I was totally knocked
down by the sun and
humidity.
診療所に着くと、まず
恒例の血圧検査です。
As soon as I arrived in the clinic,
I had a blood test.
毎回カリウムの数値が
低いので、今回は、
この日のために、
↓を沢山食べて
がんばりました。
The result of the blood test
always showed that
potassium was too low、so
I’ve been eating this↓a lot.

T先生: 「カリウム正常値ですね。
まっ、普通に食事をしていたら
こんなもんです。」
It’s normal. If you eat regularly,
off course the figures become
normal.
エリンギの出番は
ありませんでした。
He never gave me
a chance to talk about
Eryngii.
T先生: 「しもやけはどうなりました？」
How’s your frostbites?
私: 「水素水を飲み出したら、
途端によくなりました。」
It got better as soon as
I started drinking Hydrogen
water.
T先生: 「医学的には証明されていません。」
It has never been medically proven.
定期購入するなど
言える隙もあたえません。
Again, he never gave me
a chance to tell him that
I decided to buy the hydrogen
water regularly.
T先生: 「他に変わったことは？」
Anything else?
私: 「2週間前から右目のまぶたが
腫れて.....」
My right eye has been swallen
for two weeks.
T先生:「今は普通にみえますけどね。」
It looks normal to me.
こういう時、大きい目は
説得力がありません。
It’s not fair. Big eyes are not
convincing.
私:「月曜日に陽に当たり過ぎて
昨日まで動くのがしんどかったです。」
I was in the sun too long on
Monday. It made me sick
next two days.
T先生:「エリトマですから、
陽には敏感ですよね。」
Because you are SLE,
you are sensitive to the sun.
話しているだけで
すべてが解決しました。
The consultation has
solved all my problems.
さすが、
高野山診療所です。
After all, Koyasan Clinic is
amazing.
膠原病は、
話しているだけでは
解決しないときが
くるかもしれません。
One day it might not work
because that’s what Lupus is.
けれども、
However,
小さなことは考えず、
I shouldn’t be worried
about it.
毎日を楽しく、丁寧に、
大切に生きよう！
Instead, I should live
everyday to the fullest.
そう思わせてくれる
高野山です。
The life in Koyasan
makes me realize
that’s what life should be.
