今日も平和に
三日続けて雨です。
It’s been raining for 3 days
in Koyasan.
33年ぶりの
日本の梅雨です。
This is my first rainy
season in Japan in 33 years.
奥の院へ行けないので、
木の実にコーヒーを
いただきに来ました。
Because I didn’t go to Oku-no-in,
I decided to have a couple of
coffee in Konomi.
雨のせいか、
今日は私だけです。
I was the only customer.
マスターと奥様と
たっぷりお話を楽しみ、
So, I had fun chatting with
the master and his wife.
壁にかかった
素敵な言葉にもうっとり。
I also enjoyed the words of
a well known writer.
小雨になりましたので,
Dailyヤマザキに行くことに
しました。
The rain was about to stop, so
I walked to the convenience store.
今日は大収穫でした！
I scored!
このよもぎふかしパンは
最高に美味しいのですが、
なかなかお目にかかれないのです。
This steamed wormwood bread
is hard to find.
この深い緑色とモチモチ感
The color of deep green and
sticky texture would increase
my appetite.
中の小豆もつぶつぶで
美味しいのです......が....
The sweet red beans tastes
so good, but.....
驚きました。
前回よりだいぶ
餡子の量が減りました！
I was so surprised to see
that the sweet red beans
are much less than it used
to be!
帰り道、雨の中にたたずむ
こうやくんを見て、
今さらながら
発見をしました。
On my way home,
I saw Koya-kun
in the rain, and I
found something new.

アパートに戻り、
お洗濯とお掃除です。
I returned home,
washed clothes and
cleaned the room.

働いていた日が幻の
ようです。
It was almost a dream that
I used to work in the bustle
of Waikiki.
今日も平和に
高野山での一日が
過ぎていきます。
