Until just half an hour ago, I never thought I would be posting on Ameblo, but since there seems to be a rule about including a URL of my blog or website in the flyer of a live performance I am going to have in May, I took this opportunity to register as a new user and enter the contents of the first post.
Actually, I use another blog service and post my live schedule there. However, due to the COVID disaster, I only have posted live schedules only two or three performances a month, recently. There have been months where there was no live performance, and sometimes I find myself not posting anything until the next month.
I made it a rule to write in English when posting on Ameblo. Fortunately, various AI translation services are available recently. For or five years ago, machine translations are awful. Even to a person who is not good at English, the translation quality was incredibly bad. However, recently, thanks to AI technology, the quality of translation becomes very good. To tell the truth, I am not sure how good are the English sentences translated from Japanese sentences. But, as far as the Japanese sentences translated from English sentences, the quality is sufficiently good. Almost no revisions are necessary.
In addition, there is another service that checks the grammatical issues when I am writing English sentences. Therefore, although I need to learn a lot of things to improve my English, writing in English becomes relatively easier for me.
