Do you know why spirng season is so beautiful?

Because it's a time to say hello and to say good bye.

We had a nice fareparty for TM Inoue after regular meeting.

TM inoue has been a member of us for one and half year. He is the youngest and the most quickly developed member among us. He sent me an e-mail and that was the begining of the story. It could be a bit challenge for him, a student to join a social club. Or 'What's on the earth Toastmasters? ' he might question at first. But he didn't hesitate to come nor even refuse to take roles of the meeting.

Well, TM Inoue, did you imagine that you would get such wonderful experiences with beautiful members through toastmastering? Until you open a box, you never know what's gift in it.

And you are happy to have done it, aren't you?

Well..., now you seem to get a set of pens and holder in good taste.

We say 'bye for now,' but that means you'll say hello to new people at new place like we did at the begining.

Where ever we go, we are all toastmasters in communication network. Express yourself with confidence and get a success in your life.

What lets you fly higher?

One of my answers is that it's the Language. Since I felt some sort of confort with English and started to learn another language, Spanish at high school, I truely got amused with learning languages.　I never hesitate to start from scrach or even I find fun to face something new.

I believe I speak four different languages such as English, Korean, Chinese and Spanish. Last night I happened to turn on the NHK radio language programs. From 10:35pm to 11:55pm is high time in order to keep up my language levels. Italian instead of Spanish is still intriguing especially in it's sound and rythm. Thought at the same time, Gosh, it's sooo easy to loose your vocablaries if you don't use. So I say same thing many times all through my blog, NHK educational radio program is simply great!

What is your wing to let you fly higher? If you still don't know, I think it's the time to invest time or money for yourself and start something new. Restart, of course never be an exception. In fact, it's Russian for me.

Don't be scared to start out of nothing.

intensive talk with celebrities of toastmasters

The weekday meeting is comparatively small but always going-forward members come, I believe. They are already warmed up since it's on business day and really want to get something extra deviating from hush of daily life. So personally I do not want to abolish week day meeting.

Plus, today it was good to see some visitors and one of them already made his mind to join us! How could we be happier? Welcome a board! You are promised to get more fun in Nagoya through toastmastering!

After the meeting, I could have an intensive talk with those cool guys. We had some good ideas for better meeting and we all agreed with them. So president Tamura wi'll soon transform our meeting into better shape.

O.K. next meeting is inhouse contest on 14th March. Those who have been qualified to run for the contest, get ready for it! Those who haven't finished six speeches yet, come and listen to contestants' art!

Some of you may have already read the view point of TM Jana Barnhill, international president on the February article. At the economic downturn people focus on sel-improvement. And the most popular and effective competence to change your world is communication skill. In this case communication means impromptu varbal transaction.

Table topic in Toastmasters gives good occation to brush up impromptu competence. Topic master gives you one question nicely. What you do is to make brief, direst and fun answer immediately. This is the art of table topic.

How was the last meeting?

Thank you very much for your coming to the last meeting! Did you enjoy a lot?

Unforfunately I had buzy day on that, so I, setsu counldn't show up.

But I'm sure some of you visiting for the first time were amazed with its professional conduction.

This is what we call toastmastering and members are all learning, encouraging and having fun at the same time. Gee! That's why I love toastmasters.

I hope to see YOU at coming week day meeting on 24th Feb.
