MS Office 2011 does not work on macOS 10.13 High Sierra, officially. Microsoft has already ended all support for this package and wants you to switch. Microsoft has announced in a support document that Office for Mac 2011 will not be supported under macOS 10.13 High Sierra. I upgraded my Mac book Pro (retina display) to OS Sierra on 21st Sep 2016 the same day as it was released for the public. I have noticed that some of the icons in the ribbon in ‘Word’ (MS office 2016 for Mac ) are showing up as here.
