I'm not a pro by any means, and I use a 2010 MacBook Pro, and here's my workflow: • import raw footage off SD card onto computer hard drive • use to scrub through video and pick out the best clips, and save those clips to new project folder • stitch together clips using iMovie Lately, I have found that iMovie just has too few options and I want more. So, I am part way through editing a project with Adobe Premiere for the first time. Waaaay more options, but it costs money (Adobe CC is $20-something per month, figured I'll try it out for a couple months).

I have a bit of an accessory addiction:P Lemme write up what about them and I'll update this. Safety • Tethers - useful for securing to car when using suction cup, or to leg when surfing etc. Get one a fabric or covered stainless one to avoid scratching. Should have two attachment points, one for camera and another for the screw.

• Floaty backdoor using near any water outside of a pool, this is a must. Usually best to get a new backdoor to save space too. • Lens covers - keep them lenses clean, fingerprints/oil make a great video amateur. Body Mounted • Chest mount - my favourite, out the way and gives you a nice view (especially if you use 4:3 recording, usually 1440p). Should be just tight enough that its uncomfortable otherwise you'll get shaky footage. Also can wear backwards to film friends.

• Head mount - not a huge fan, mainly just because of how you look when you use it! Outlook 2016 for mac reset search. Although it can give good angles. Again tighten very well.

• Wrist mount - never used, I think the applications would be limited but again could work for cliff diving etc. • Mouth mount - never used but I love the angles it gives. Prefer this over the head mount because it gives a more natural view from lower down on the head. Mounts • Adhesive mounts - pretty obvious. Make sure you clean the surface, dry and press down for 10+ seconds. Let set for 24 hrs etc. • Suction cup - my new favourite mount to experiment.
