What’s the shiniest thing of all?
I've been searching for the best gift
Thinking of how happy you'd be
You say you want to find
this 'true self' of yours
You say you want to know
if there is a 'reason to exist'
With two hands, when I give this gift to you
I hope all the riddles disappear
I wonder if you'll accept my gift
I wanted to give this to you for so long
I've been holding on to it so tight
Its already all crumpled
Its colour all faded
I really can't say it looks pretty though
'Just tell me in black and white'
To be asked such a hard question
Before a wall weathered with holes
We are lost yet again
Lost but nevertheless
Between the black and the white
Infinite colours fill the gap
Searching for one that suits you
And if I could just give it a nice name
And viola! The most beautiful colour of all
I give to you
Reaching beyond the horizon
A new horizon only comes to view
"Should I give up now?"
When I ask my heart this question
The answer I hear is that
"I still want to walk on"
Since when, my growing burdens
I’ve managed to carry them on somehow
I'll even take your share
