However, spills and stains are likely to occur throughout the life of the material. At first, they may seem irreversible, but with quick action and the correct supplies, these mishaps will have no lasting impact. Cover the oil stain completely with cornstarch or talcum powder and let it sit overnight. The dry powder will soak up the sticky residue left in the fabric. Lightly vacuum the excess powder from the surface of the suede leather. Do not scrape the vacuum excessively on the material, as this may damage it further.
