１１月１９日現在
メルボルン都市部は２週間ほど感染者が０人続いています⭐
緊急事態宣言も緩和されたことにより外食や州内の旅行も許可されました。
３０度を超える日もあり夏になりましたが
マスク着用義務は続いてます☀
NSW州の境界も２３日に開くようです!!
今回のトピックは【ファームのお仕事】
緊急事態宣言（ロックダウン）の生活に疲れ果てて、ファームへ出稼ぎに行き、先日帰ってきました☺
今回お伝えする内容は
・ワーホリビザ２年目取得

【ワーホリビザ２年目取得】
※今回私は２年目のビザは取得せずに帰ってきました。
オーストラリアでは、
ワーキングホリデー１年目の間に８８日間ファームで仕事をすると
➡ワーホリセカンドビザを取得可能
ちなみに、２年目の間に半年間ぐらいファームで働くと
➡ワーホリデーサードビザを取得可能
コロナの影響を受け、
１年で帰る予定だった人もセカンドビザを取得し、もう一年滞在する予定を立てている人が多くいました。
【夜行バス】
今回は緊急事態宣言により州外に仕事以外の理由では出ることが出来ませんでした。
仕事の許可証を提示して州外に出ることは可能でしたが、２週間の隔離が必要とされていました。
そのため、私はビクトリア州内にあるファームへ行きました！
Melbourne ➡ Mildura（Red cllifs）
（夜行バスで約９時間）
V lineで夜行バスを予約しました💻
片道大人1人56.40ドル
普通にきれいなトイレ付きのバスでした
往路は利用者がおらず、私を含めてたったの５人だけでした🚌

・部屋が汚い
・１００人ぐらいと同じ屋根の下
・ごつめの男たち
・田舎すぎる
友人が居たので、一緒に過ごしてもらい
友達を少しずつ作り生活に慣れることができました❣
～１か月住んでみての感想～
韓国、台湾、香港、スペイン、マレーシア、シンガポールなどなど多国籍な友達を作ることが出来て、国際交流が出来て楽しかった。
日本人も多かったけど、年齢も経歴も関係なく様々な話を聞くことが出来てためになったなと感じる。
シティでは見ることの出来ない大自然が
すぐ隣にあって、プチ旅行も楽しむことが出来た。
【田舎事情】
バスは一本逃したら１時間後。
あれ、ここは栃木？
ファームはとっても田舎なので
ワーホリ勢は中古の車を買って移動している人たちもたくさんいました🚙
幸いなことにバスがあったので、
街中には３０分弱で行けました☕
どこにも高層ビルはなく、どこも敷地が広々としたお店でした。
オーストラリア人のアクセントもだいぶ
強めでなかなかでした💦
夜にはカンガルーを目にすることだって
できちゃいました🦘
あ、田舎すぎで
電波が死ぬほど悪かったな
【ファームの仕事】
私が働いてのは
「アスパラガス」ファーム
他にも時期や場所によって
・ブルーベリー
・オレンジ
・チェリー
・バナナ
・花
・真珠
などなどがあるみたいです👀
主に私のファームでは
・ピッキング（収穫）
地面に生えているアスパラをひたすらナイフでピックし、腰につけているバケツにいれる作業。
正直言って、鬼しんどい
（2日で死亡）
・パッキング（商品製造）
寒い倉庫の中でベルトコンベアに流れてくるアスパラをひたすら束ねる作業。
ピッキングより100倍楽だけど、
大量に流れてくるアスパラをひたすら束ねるのもストレスが溜まった
私は２日間ピッキングした後に
パッキングのポジションに異動しました
倉庫ではBGMをがんがんにかけてたけど
それでもストレス溜まったよ

４:３０ 仕事場に向かうバスに乗る
５:００ 仕事開始
～休憩をはさみつつ仕事～
１２:００ 昼休憩（３０分）
１４:００ 仕事終わり

【お金事情】
１か月で３０００ドル近くは貯めたかな💰
時給24.36ドル（税込み）
※夜勤28.01ドル（税込み）
出費するものたち
ホステルのレント＄１５０per week
仕事場までのバス＄５per day
※車ある人は自分で運転してもOK
毎週、お給料明細（pay slip）をもらい、口座に振り込まれました。
セカンドビザを申請する方はこれが大切になるらしい👇
【英語力】
日本人もたくさんいるファームだけど
1か月だけ出稼ぎにいく目的でファームへ行くことを決断！
メルボルンに帰ってきて
スピーキング力がアップ👆🌈
日本人もいる環境でスピーキング力を
アップさせた方法（知らんけど）
① 英語の授業に参加
（たまたま英語の先生が一緒に働いていて無料で受けられました）
② 国籍の異なる人にたくさん話しかける
（なるべく日本人と過ごさないように）
毎日、日本人ではない友達に話しかけることを意識し、英語を話すよう心掛けていました！ （それだけ）
その結果、以前よりも
スピーキングに自信が持てるようになり、しゃべれるようになりました！
外国人に「日本人は静か」だという印象を与えてしまうのは、日本人が英語を話すことに自信を持てていないことも一つの理由かもしれない🤔
まとめ
一か月のファームを通して、
色んな人に会い、友達も作り、真のオーストラリアを目にすることもでき、農作業も体験し、英語力もアップし、お金も稼いで充実した時間を過ごせました💗

Reality of working holiday in Melbourne
I will tell you about the reality of working holiday and Australia
As of 19 October 2020
Covid19 case is zero for 2 weeks in Melbourne.
We can eat out, and short trip in VIC state because the restriction was eased
We still have to wear the face mask even though sometimes it overs 30 degree and summer is coming!
Today’s topic is “farm job”
I just came back from the farm this week!
I went to the farm to earn money because I was soooo tired the life under lockdown,,,
The contents are
・2nd working holiday visa
・Coach
・Accommodation
・Countryside in AU
・Farm job
・Money
・English skills
<2nd working holiday visa>
※I didn’t get the 2nd visa
In Australia,
Work at the farm for 88days during 1st working holiday
➡You can get 2nd working holiday visa
By the way, work at the farm for about half year during 2nd working holiday
➡You can get 3rd working holiday visa
I met many people who got 2nd visa and planned to stay one more year due to this situation, though they didn’t expect to stay like that long.

We couldn’t get out from Victoria state with out the work permission due to the lockdown.
It required to isolate for 2 weeks, though it was possible to get out from Victoria with work permission.
So I went to the farm in Victoria!
Melbourne to Mildura(Red Cllifs)
(about 9 hours by the coach)
I booked the seat of the coach at V line website.
One way adult: $56.40
It was clean couch
Passenger were just 5 people including me when I go to the farm.

The reason why I wanted to go back
・dirty room
・hostel with around 100people
・looks strong men,,
・too countryside
Stay with my friends first.
I could make friend, so I used to stay there.
~Impression after 1 month~
I could make international friends such as people from Korea, Taiwan, Hongkong, Spain, Malaysia, Singapore etc.. so it was really nice to exchange the culture
There are a lot of Japanese too, but I could talk with people who are different age and have different background.
Furthermore,
There is huge nature next to us, so I could enjoy short trip like adventure.

It will be after one hour, if you miss the bus
What? Is here Tochigi?(My hometown)
Many people with working holiday have used car because it’s really countryside so it’s nice to have own transportation actually.
Luckily, there is bus stop close to our accommodation, so we could go to the city for about 30 mins.
There are no high-building and shop have big area each and they are in a row.
Aussie in countryside have stronger accent than people in the city.
I could look the kangaroo at night
Ah, it was horrible bad reception in the phone because it’s too countryside
<farm job>
The farm where I worked was
“Asparagus farm”
Depends on the area and season
・blueberry
・orange
・cherry
・banana
・flowers
・pearl
The main job were
・picking
Pick asparagus from the ground with knife and put them in the budget wearing to the back.
・packing
Band asparagus that coming on the belt conveyor
It’s 100 times easier than picking though
It was so stressful to band the asparagus in large quantities.
I moved to the packing position after I picked asparagus 2 days

※workload is depend on the amount of the asparagus, so time is always changed

I probably save nearly $3000

$24.36(include tax)

Outgoings
・rent $150 per week
・pick up fee $5 per day
※possible to use own car
We receive the pay slip and translate money to the account
It’s really important to apply for 2nd visa
<English skills>
I decided to go to the farm, though I knew there are many Japanese to earn money for a month!
My English speaking skill is actually getting better than before I went to the farm!
How to improve English speaking skill around Japanese ( though I don’t know)
1. Attend free English class
(English teacher was working with us)
2. Speak to International friends
(try not to talk with Japanese)
I endeavor to speak to international friends and speak English every day. ( That’s it)
In conclusion, I could speak English better than before because now I have the confidence to speak English.
The reason why foreigner say “Japanese are quiet” is probably that Japanese don’t have the confidence to speak English..
Met a lot of people, and made friends, saw real Australia, had experience at the farm, improve English and earn money!
That’s amazing time for me!
