メルボルン、ブリスベン、シドニー各都市では大規模なデモが行われ、警察が取り締まっていました。

〈国際免許証〉
渡航前に免許センターに行き、
窓口で手続きをするだけで
簡単に取得できます。
国際免許証は発行後１年間のみ
有効です。
基本的にどこでも運転できるらしい。
がしかし、、、
オーストラリアビクトリア州は
６か月以上滞在する者は
免許証を取得しなければならないと
規定されているのです
だるすぎーん
車を運転する機会は避けてきたので
更新もしませんでした
だが、１年以上も滞在して
残り時間の方が少ないけれど
旅行とかで使うかもしれないから
免許取ってきた
〈予約の流れ〉
ビクトリア州の免許センター“VicRoads”のHPから予約をする。予約費用＄１９
（１か月ぐらい先まで埋まってます）
↓
最寄りの免許センターで受付を済ませる。必要なものは
・パスポート
・免許証
・国際免許証/免許証英語翻訳
・クレジットカード（ID情報）
・口座証明（住所証明情報）
・申込書
※予約のメールで申込書も準備してくださいと書いてありましたが、免許センターでもらえました
↓
案内番号をもらい、
すぐに呼ばれました
持ってきたものを全て係の人に渡して
免許証３年以上保持してるから
普通の免許所取れるよって言われて、
追加書類にサインをしました。
↓
壁に貼ってあるアルファベット読んで
視力の確認終わり
↓
３年間有効の免許＄８４
１０年間は＄２００ぐらいでした
その場で支払いカードをピッ
↓
部屋の隅っこで
写真撮って、サインして
終了～～
（日本みたいなガチのカメラセットは存在しなかった）
１０日以内に届くらしい✉
え、秒過ぎてわろた
日本人の免許取得が簡単すぎた事件
テストも何もございません。
身分証明書としても使えるので最強🔥
学生証とかは通じないらしい🙅

〈Overseas license〉
You can get it so easy in Japan.
Just go to license center
And do a procedure. That’s it.
It’s only for a year
You probably can use it everywhere basically.
But,,,
Victoria, Australia doesn’t allow to use that license if you stay in Victoria for more than 6 months.
Oh my,, It’s a bit annoying!
I didn’t update because I always avoided to drive a car.
But I got it finally
I may use a car for travel
Even though I stay here for more than 1 year and it’s less than 1 year to stay here actually
〈How did I get the license〉
Visit Vicroads website and book an appointment. You have to pay $19 here to book. (It’s probably full next 1 month)
↓
Visit Vicroad and check in at the reception.
You will be confirmed that you have
・passport
・overseas license or translation
・bank card (credit card)
・Bank statement(identification)
・application
※Email when you booked the appointment says provide the application form but you can actually get at vicroads
↓
Get the number
I was called shortly
I gave everything I got to the staff
I just signed additional paper
I could get full license
Because I’m holding my license for more than 3 years.
↓
I read the alphabet on the wall
The eyesight test is finished

License for 3 years $84
And for 10 years about $200
I just paid by a card.
↓
I went to the corner of the room
And was taken a photo for license
And signed
And done!
(There wasn’t a camera studio like Japan)
I will get it in 10 days
That was pretty easy
It’s nothing
There wasn’t any test for me
I’m scared myself because I actually don’t know any rules in here
It’s awesome I can use it for identification as well. I had to carry my passport sometimes.
I’m excited a bit 😊
(I wonder I will use it though because I don’t like driving actually)
