Laurence of Canterbury
Laurence (sometimes Lawrence or Laurentius, died 2 February 619 AD)
was the second Archbishop of Canterbury from about 604 to 619.
ローレンス（時に、ロウレンス または ラウレンティウス AD619年2月2日没）
は、およそ604～619年頃、第2代カンタベリー大司教でした。
He was a member of the Gregorian mission sent from Italy to England
to convert the Anglo-Saxons to Christianity,
彼はアングロサクソン人をキリスト教に改宗させるために
イタリアからイングランドへ送られたグレゴリアン・ミッションの使節団のメンバーでした。
although the date of his arrival is disputed.
