back in London, the temperature dropped down to 11c this morning...
summer's gone somewhere,I guess.

I was in Kent.
went to a well known DJ's birthday party.

photo:01

it was held in the middle of countryside.
the temperature dropped down to 15c at night....
incredibly cold for summer:-(
never thought I'd need a knitted cardigan and thick tights in July.

i was taking a look at some bird feeders at a pet shop.

so many kind of it!
but I found the one I have in Tokyo is perfect.

I love this pet shop.

I can meet those cute rabbits;-)

when I got off the flight.
the airline staff were handing over these...
photo:01

and then,I was expecting a long queue at a passport control.
so I've downloaded some movies to my iPad to kill time.
but there was hardly any queue!
it was the quickest ever.
I wish it was like this all the time...

did you watch the opening ceremony?
I enjoyed it very much.
it's interesting to see people from all over the world at a time.

I'm back in London.

it is so hot for London!!!
(but it's still under 30c)

went to a jazz festival in a park.

I like those summer festivals.

sit on a rug listening to live music
a glass of white wine in my hand...

30-min nap wasn't enough.
but at 1:50am,we started climbing again....
it was so dark, but the night view was
incredibly beautiful!
lights from the city below and lots of lots of stars in the sky.
I couldn't stop looking at it.
photo:05

about 4am,we finally reached the top!
and wait for the sunrise...
photo:02

the cold wind made my fingers frozen cold.

about 4:20am...
photo:06

amazing view.

then we went around the crater.
photo:04

even on the remained snow!
that was quite exciting!

after climbed to the highest of Kengamine,we started to go down.

honestly,I absolutely hated it.
because it was boring.
and my knees were killing me:-(
if there was a cable car,I'd definitely take it!

after all,i'm glad to have made it,
and am so proud of me;-)

but I don't really want to do that again!

thanks to our guide,
we made it to the 8.5 station!!
it took 6 hours to come here.

and this is where we stay...
photo:01

we had curry for early dinner.
and what I saw was this ...
photo:04

such a beautiful sunset!

at 8:30,they cut all the lights.
so early:-(

even I didn't sleep long enough last night,
and had 6 hour climbing today,
it was impossible to go to sleep...

we took a Yoshida route.

start with a gentle slope.
it was easy.
photo:01

but after the 6th station,
we had to start climbing this...
photo:02

the guide let us take a break every 20 mins.
photo:04

I was dreaming if I could climb without this 10k backpack!!!
photo:05

we got pretty lucky with the weather.
sunny with little cloud and nice breeze.
that made us enjoyed the view...

I guess no one wants to drive after climbing Mt.Fuji.
so we booked a bus tour with an experienced guide.
there were about 40 climbers on the bus.
the bus stopped at Shinjuku first.
so that we could rent some mountaineering gear, like shoes or headlights.
since i prepared almost everything,I rented only trekking poles.

at the 5th station.
ittekimasu !!!
