Some say marriage is a necessary system to raise children and to maintain society. Conversely, some say marriage is not necessary for raising children; instead society should collectively raise children.

In my opinion, this is an irresponsible claim that has appeared since the modern age where our every need has been satisfied with abundant food and goods.

I believe a family is the most basic and ideal unit in which humans grow, and I insist that marriage is not just physical or earthly unification but also spiritual unification between a man and woman, which gives deep meaning to our existence. That is why when we get married we swear before God.

In my opinion, reality and virtual reality are not widely separated from each other. The two realities influence us in almost the same ways. I think you have experienced a fearful dream that woke you up at midnight and you noticed your heart was pounding.

This proves there is no big difference between the two realities especially in the emotional sphere. We don't need to worry about virtual reality technology. We should rather utilize it to recover from mental illness for example. This kind of therapy is far better than chemotherapy which is now prevalent in mental hospitals.

We mustn't forget the fact that food makes our bones and blood. I am very conscious of the foods I eat.

These days, food is contaminated with lots of additives. If we don't care about our food, we will accumulate chemical substances in our body unwittingly. Not only processed food but also fresh food such as vegetables, grain, or meat is contaminated with fertilizers, pesticides, or the feed given to animals.

The influence from those chemicals has already shown up little by little as health problems. It is said that several diseases such as autism, Alzheimer's, and collagen disease which were not known in the past have been caused by the contamination.

The risk of ignoring good and healthy food cannot be overstated, I believe.

I have heard from a friend of mine who teaches in a high school that he has almost no days off because he has to take care of his students' club activities on weekends.

The government has noticed this situation and recently announced a new scheme to sort out this situation. The plan is to allow schools to employ people--mostly parents--who have some certifications to teach students in club activities and pay some money to them.

Schools are so competitive these days that they have to pursue superiority both in academics and in extracurricular activities such as sports. It is too much for teachers to run after two hares. The new scheme is definitely good news for all teachers in Japan.

If you think you are your body, your thought is misguided in a way. You are just living in a body temporarily. You have chosen your parents just before incarnation and you have got the body that you think you are, but after some time, you will have to leave that body. This is a traditional Eastern belief especially in Buddhism.

The question here, "What body would you like to have?" is, therefore, a little puzzling because you have chosen a body (with a brain) already and you can use it as much as you like to actually become a person you admire. You need not imagine this situation hypothetically.

You may have to, however, reincarnate again and again if you want to be a beautiful movie star.
