GR Supra 100 unit production

Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) declared today that the GR Supra GT4*1 customer motorsports*2 vehicle has produced 100 units cumulatively. The model hit the milestone in almost three years from its commercial launch in March 2020, which began in Europe, moved to North America in August, then to Japan and other areas of Asia in October of that same year. This was made possible by the support of customers all over the world.

 

The Supra-based, race-modified GR Supra GT4 was developed in an effort to provide customers interested in customer motorsports with an exciting, effective, and simple way to enjoy racing as well as to hasten the development of ever-better automobiles by presenting a challenge to and receiving feedback from motorsports. By scoring 79 class triumphs, 20 overall victories, and 207 podium positions in GT4*3 championships across a number of nations, as well as the Super Taikyu Series in Japan, it has shown that it has a lot of potential. As of the end of 2022, it has a total of 625 entries throughout 317 races globally. Customers' suggestions have always resulted in advancements for the vehicle and its parts. In 2023, the GR Supra GT4 will continue its involvement in motorsports with 27 units entered in different races around Europe, 20 units in North America, and 12 units in Asia, including Japan.
 

TGR today unveiled the limited-edition, commemorative GR Supra GT4 100 Edition to mark the manufacture of 100 units. This model has a special exterior color, distinctive front bodywork, and a badge with a serial number. Three units will be built in total.
 

Since the GR Supra GT4's release, TGR engineers have travelled to race tracks all over the world to support customers, gathering crucial feedback from racing teams and drivers that can only be attained under the intense pressure of competition. The GR Supra GT4 was succeeded by the GR Supra GT4 EVO, which was introduced in 2022 and allowed for further learning from the racing field as TGR continues to support the development of ever-better motorsports-bred vehicles. TGR will step up its customer motorsports activities with the goal of making motorsports and the creation of sports cars exhilarating and thrilling for its customers.
