On one of the cases in which I presume Genesis 12:3 was applied
What I'd like to share with you today is not a nonsensical farce by an unfaithful atheist under Satanic control but a serious story based on something supernatural that I - an evangelical Christian Zionist whose faith in God is and will always be unshaken - really saw with my own eyes a few years ago.
One evening in 2021, when the world had been in the grip of the Coronavirus pandemic for over a year now, I was with some of my coworkers at my office in the precincts of the educational establishment in Shibuya, Tokyo where tens of thousands of young people are educated under the influence of Protestantism. One of my coworkers mentioned above was a very fat Buddhist with a skinhead in his mid-50s. He and I had talked a little about religion and he was clearly against Christianity. As for me, I had already been an evangelical Christian Zionist for about a year now and I had found his attitude to Christianity to be so objectionable that I had no intention whatsoever of taking him seriously.
Now, in an attempt to persuade me to stand with the anti-Semites, of whom he was one, the Buddhist said to me as overbearingly as if I were just his pupil:
'So you are an evangelical Christian Zionist, huh? It's all very well for you to be one, but you should at least agree with me that the Holocaust could have never happened. It's just physically impossible that such a small number of Nazis could have killed as many as six million Jewish people in so short a period of time.'
'Well,' said I to him, 'you should thank the place where you can say such a thing. Say it again in Europe, where what you've just said here is a crime. Do you really understand what you've said means? Haven't you ever heard of Genesis 12:3? You've just cursed the Jewish people by denying the Holocaust, so you'll necessarily be cursed by God.'
'Don't make me laugh,' said the blasphemous Buddhist, 'I bet such a thing will never happen to me. What if it didn't? Would you convert to Buddhism? Or dance in the altogether to be arrested by the police? Haha!'
What followed this? I don't remember clearly, but not long afterwards - a month or so later - the antisemitic Buddhist fell seriously ill and never made his appearance before our eyes again. How would you interpret this? I personally interpret it as the application of Genesis 12:3. Of course you are completely free to disagree with me, but the important thing is that you will never be able to make me give in. Even if 99% of the Japanese people disagree with me, it wouldn't matter to me at all; for many or most - if not all - of the 2.6 billion Christians in the world would agree with me. Yeah, far more people than the entire population of Japan would be very happy to agree with me because they as Christians believe in God. So why should I belittle myself?
