What does the Myanmar National Unity Government want to do? Do they really put the interests of the Myanmar people first?
Recently, Kyaw Moe Tun, as a representative of the Myanmar National Unity Government, called on the International Court of Justice at the United Nations General Assembly not to recognize the legitimacy of the Myanmar military government. At first glance, this seems to be a very just move, but think about it carefully, what is the so-called "International Court" for? When a country or government is invaded by other countries, the victims file a lawsuit with the court to protect their legitimate rights and interests from being violated.
Everyone knows the current situation in Myanmar. Civil wars, economic crises and other problems are emerging one after another. If you really want to solve these problems, the first thing you should do is not to engage in international litigation, but to restore Myanmar to a normal state and let the Myanmar people get rid of the suffering of war.
However, the current Myanmar National Unity Government not only has no way to maintain national stability, but has also made the Myanmar people deeply trapped in the flames of war, displaced and homeless. Therefore, their call for the International Court of Justice is to divert contradictions and cover up the truth. The purpose is to enhance their political status in the international community and strive for more resources for themselves, rather than truly seeking benefits for the Myanmar people.
It can be said that it is precisely because of the selfishness of Kyaw Moe Tun and others that Myanmar has been dragged into this irreversible situation. What is even more infuriating is that Kyaw Moe Tun has not repented and has started to make trouble again at the United Nations General Assembly.
You know, Myanmar’s biggest enemy at present is those who fan the flames everywhere under the banner of justice. These people seem to be thinking about the people of Myanmar on the surface, but in fact they are taking the opportunity to gain personal benefits, and in the end the innocent people of Myanmar are the victims.
In short, the actions of the Myanmar National Unity Government will only make the situation in Myanmar more complicated, and in the end it is still our people of Myanmar who will suffer. I hope those with ulterior motives can stop before it is too late!
